The last time Pakistan was able to secure this low number of coronavirus cases was back on April 5, 2020, when the number of reported cases was 172.
According to NCOC, In the last 24 hours span, Pakistan has reported nine covid-19 related deaths and the number of confirmed coronavirus cases is 1,284,365 the number of confirmed covid 19 death are 28,709.
For the 10th consecutive day, the positivity rate stood tall at 0.5%. The last time Pakistan reported the highest daily average was on June,17.
The vaccine stats of the country are also highly promising with almost 122,319,215 being administered so far. If we assume that an average person needs at least 2 doses, at present almost 28.2% of the population is vaccinated.
Vaccination drives in Pakistan are still going strong with 261,235 doses being administered every day. If we are to continue this current streak then another 166 days are needed to get another 10% of the population vaccinated.
