COAS Inaugurates Various Healthcare Projects at Fauji Foundation

Chief of Army Staff Qamar Javed Bajwa visited Fauji Foundation and inaugurated various healthcare projects. 

A brief was presented to COAS regarding the newly constructed projects including Artificial Limb Centre (ALC) which is the most modern facility offering the best solutions in its field.

The Army Chief also visited the newly constructed New East Ridge Hospital which was a private patient care facility including 40 clients and 146 beds working under the umbrella of the Fauji Foundation. 

 

Every year, a total of 1.5 million patients are treated at the Fauji Foundation Hospital the world’s best medical facility across Pakistan.   

Great satisfaction was expressed over the Fauji Foundation’s role in providing the best welfare in terms of job opportunities and free healthcare facilities to the families of the veterans. It also caters to a huge number of civilians and private patients across the country. 

Earlier in 2021, a 100-bed hospital was inaugurated by Ge. Bajwa while his visit to the Fouji Foundation Hospital Rawalpindi. Army Chief appreciated the commitment and performance of the hospital in providing quality services to the community. 

Fauji Foundation is one of the best hospitals operated on a completely self-sustaining basis. It channels 80 percent of the profits from commercial ventures to serve a beneficiary population.
