According to United Nations’ International Children’s Fund, the package is set to arrive from the COVAX facility in the first quarter.
The total count of Pakistan’s vaccination jabs has now crossed over 91 million. This data has been provided by UNICEF. The country has enjoyed the successful administration of 175 million covid vaccinations.

UNICEF has supplied almost 41 ultra cold chain equipment along with PPEs that are the need of the hour.
According to an official statement "Since the beginning of the COVID-19 emergency, more than 150 million people (60 percent of the population) have been reached with messages on COVID-19 prevention and access to services through national media channels with UNICEF support, and more than 50 million at-risk people have been reached through community engagement activities,"
Furthermore, the national helpline also helped a huge mass of people that culminates into a staggering number of 9 million. The donor agency went on to praise the efforts of UNICEF against the socio-economic effects of this drastic situation. From supporting the vulnerable families to providing safe water and food for the children the organization has left no stone unturned.
The organization is also proving to be fruitful as it has shortened the length of the gender gap by carrying out door-to-door vaccination drives.
COVAX is a medical facility that is co-led by Gavi and is a coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations and World Health Organization. With the main goal of accelerating the development and manufacture of vaccines as well as their fair distribution the facility is nothing if not productive!
