13-09-2021Now, the children who are under the age of 18 till 15 can get the shots of covid-19 inoculations, says NCOC.
NCOC said on Saturday that children under the age group of 15-18 can now get free shots of Pfizer.
Have decided in NCOC meeting today to lower the eligible age for covid vaccination to 15 years and older. Starting September 1, vaccination of 17 years old will start. For 15 and 16 years old start date will be announced later.

Those who fall under this age group are required to submit a registration certificate. The availability of Pfizer will be made possible at all vaccination centers for minors. NCOC also said on the same day that mobile vaccination teams will visit all the schools and colleges in this context.
With all the radical steps that are taken up by the Federal GovernmentGovernmnet and NCOC, it will become impossible for the citizens of Pakistan to stay unvaccinated. The Government of Pakistan is also considering the start of paid vaccination for those who which to get the vaccine of their own choice.
These decisions were shared by the federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives Asad Umar and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Health Dr. Faisal Sultan during a press conference.
Dr. Sultan said: “From September 1 teenager over 17 years of age will be allowed to get the first dose and will have to get one dose by September 15. They will have to be fully vaccinated by October 15, otherwise, they will not be allowed in educational institutions. After that, 16 years to 17 years age group and then 15 years to 16 years age group will be allowed to get vaccinated. Dates for vaccination of other two groups [from 15 to 17] will be announced soon,” he said.
