Researchers claim to have developed a far deadlier COVID strain with a fatality rate of 80%. Research is conducted by scientists from Boston and Florida at the varsity’s National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories.

They combined the Omicron strain with the original virus which was deadly enough to kill the mice by eighty percent after the spread of infectious disease.

Researchers have done the research by extracting the spike protein from Omicron and combining it with the original strain (which resulted in the global pandemic).

During the research, the mice who were exposed to only Omicron experienced a few mild symptoms. Researchers have performed research on the mice and infected them with the new deadly COVID strain.

The researchers further stated, “In Mice, while Omicron causes mild, non-fatal infection, the Omicron S-carrying virus inflicts severe disease with a mortality rate of 80%”.

In the current situation, Omicron and its variants are already dominant worldwide and considered mild viruses in severity terms. But health experts always highlighted the danger.

Researchers claim that the new variant is 5 times more infectious than the Omicron variant. It is also a danger for mankind. Many had believed already that the COVID-19 virus was created at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Professor Shmuel Shapira (a leading scientist in the Israeli Government) also quoted that “This should be totally forbidden, it’s playing with fire”.
