The management is also urging the locals to get booster shots so that the health services are targeting a wider audience.
Boris Johnson while visiting the vaccination center in London, acknowledged those who were getting shots and told the reporters at that spot about this concerning news.
Boris told the media that "Sadly at least one patient has now been confirmed to have died with Omicron, So I think the idea that this is somehow a milder version of the virus - I think that's something we need to set on one side - and just recognize the sheer pace at which it accelerates through the population."
He acknowledged the fact that there is a spike in the omicron cases in London and that the Health Secretary has defined the spread rate as “phenomenal.”
Although Johnson account and amidst the certain failures of his government he is hopeful that the current measures can prove their worth against this deadly virus spread.
